I was skeptical about upgrading to these wheels but decided to do it anyways. I am so glad I did. I don't get almost knocked off of my board going over bridge junctions ( or whatever the things that kind of look like train tracks are called), and I can actually take em at full speed.
Sidewalk cracks are also tolerable now. I'd say it's about a 75% less hostile experience. Downhill sidewalk rides are actually fun, but I still avoid poorly leveled sidewalks when going uphill because I did get knocked off my board going about 15 mph when the next sidewalk piece was an inch higher.
Overall, worth the upgrade. I was gonna get another board at first, but these wheels have allowed me to hold off on buying a new one until direct drive motor technology catches up to where I need it to be.

These wheels are what you need to become the ultimate road surfer. I bought them just because I was curious to see how they would feel. I will never put my stock wheels back on unless absolutely necessary. I’ve road +200 miles on these wheels so far and the tread/grip is still there. I’ve also gone through grass, dirt, sand, gravel, mud, etc. The only grief I’ve experienced was when the sand became more than 4” deep. Sidewalk cracks/bumps are more comfortable. Even those little bumps at the end/beginning of every sidewalk you just don’t feel them now. I can also go over curbs from sidewalk to road now with ease. Would highly recommend upgrading your battery, motor, and enclosure for high performance, and maximum distance.

My 10 year old rides the backfire electric skateboard, we replaced it's original wheels with the baby blue cloud wheels last weekend. She noticed the difference immediately. She said it's so much more of a smoother ride. And it's easier for her to go over rough asphalt, side walk cracks and small gravel. The fact it made her feel more stable and safe on the bored was worth the cost of the wheels.

I like the wheels very much. I was glad they came with bearings and screws. It was disappointing that it did not include any Truck spacers. First time I rode the wheels bed and knocked me off the skateboard. I had to buy spacers to raise the board versus the factory wheels on my backfire mini.

I got these for a galaxy. They are big and cool but the deficit they create in torque on this particular board along with the range lost makes them not a great choice for a 10s board. In turbo the torque is ok but range suffers drastically. For a galaxy or any other 10s battery board id say stick with the 97mm wheels

Changes the ride for the better definitely! Gives you more confidence while carving at higher speeds. I'm dropped a star because I have used them for about a month and they have worn very quick especially in the back. The nature of the hub motors heating up adds to quicker wear. For 140 dollars I most likely will put my original wheels on after the cloud wheels wear out. I ride daily and am a heavier rider at 225 lbs.

I was a little skeptical about cloud wheels but I am so glad I bought them. A lot of reviews I came across said the grip wasn't that great and the durability wasn't so hot but I haven't had any issues with any of that. In fact I think it felt better while carving and did increase the top speed a bit. It lowered my range slightly but not too much of an issue. Installation was a breeze.

These wheels are game-changers. So incredibly smooth on crappy asphalt, and they demolish acorns, small rocks, sticks, etc. You won't regret this purchase! They are a challenge to put on since they are a snug fit. You must line the screw holes up perfectly the 1st time or you'll have to reseat the wheel. I suggest a small piece of wood and a rubber mallet so when the holes are lined up you can 'hammer' the center of the wood and have the wheel slide on easily and evenly.

LOVE the light blue cloud wheels with the Backfire G3!!! I just went 5 miles today with my wife and daughter on their bikes. We had a blast!
30 miles total so far. I can ride on the sidewalk when needed. On the road, the carving and feel was really nice!!! For super super smooth roads, I still prefer the original G3 wheels. For sidewalks and rougher asphalt roads, Cloud wheels all day!

Straight up game changer. If you're looking for a good slide wheel these aren't it but these have an insane amount of traction which I like for higher speeds. Worth it.

Superb G3 now fitted with backfire cloud wheel. Dramatically changes the board on rougher surfaces. Would highly recommend the cloud wheels. Board has great flex and I am nearly 100Kg and still boarding age 59. Never stop pushing the boundaries.

Very smooth ride, more confident at higher speeds and I believe they go a little faster than the 96mm, however I got around 13 miles if range instead of a usual 18-20 miles. Nice wheels for woody areas, festivals, ect.
