Good customer service and easy swap of battery with relatively quick shipping. Wish it was slightly cheaper and had a longer run time.
Bought this battery for my custom built pin tail electric skateboard. The battery is small, light weight and sealed. I am able to get about 6 miles riding aggressively. This skateboard has a higher top speed (30mph) so it takes a lot of juice. I went with a Backfire battery because they have always worked for me and lasted. Highly recommend for custom boards.

Bought an extra battery to attach to my g2 black in parallel with my existing battery, I get an additional 25km range and able to use my r2 remotes turbo feature with no worries with ruining my battery. I recommend doing this to your g2 black cheaper way of doubling your range �

I did a duel battery setup because one battery isn't enough for a 250lb rider. I think it's should be more of a standard with 10s4p instead of 10s2p. But the board and controls are awesome but I only put 20 mi on it so far so will see if it lasts the test of time. The remote could use a battery twice the size also. It should last atleast 5-8 rides. You should also sell the inserts that are used to attach battery to board. I waited a couple weeks to see if the upgraded Samsung battery would be available but no luck. Overall I would give the backfire g2 black! a 7.5 out of 10.

We love our Backfire boards! We have the Backfire G2 and recently purchased the Zealot S. The Zealot S has the smoothest ride of any board we have been on!

Fantastic. My lad accidentally plugged wrong charger in board and it blew up... Backfire were super helpful and sent me another. Easy to fit and I got a spare connector ordered at same time. Now I can quickly unbolt battery and bolt on old battery getting twice the range .. awesome!
Customer service was not great. Unfortunately. Ordered a battery for my son’s board as he was using the board to get around his college campus and had been for years. As we live in Colorado eventually the battery wires corroded, not the companies fault- just nature. So ordered a new battery- understood there was a wait- no problem. When we received the battery it caused magic smoke from my son’s board. As we don’t want to inadvertently start a fire- unplugged it. Figured we would try to return the battery and put the money toward a new board. When contacting the customer service was told that I would have to pay for shipping it back (I get that), but that I could pay to ship it back and they may decide to not refund- no guarantee. So I now have a 170.00 dollar battery sitting in a box on my dining room table that I have no idea what to do with, and my son is back to hoofing it at school.

I had to order this battery as a replacement for the one on my board after only five months of use. I emailed them asking what I could do and never got an answer from customer service so I had to order a new battery on my own. Right now the jury is still out for me on the quality of this board but their customer service department wouldn’t even rank one star

It has been under a year since buying this a board from this company and we have already had to completely replace the battery and the remote stopped working all together. And buying a new remote is almost another hundred dollars. We have not been rough on this board at all, it’s been on cement the whole time we have had it. Would not recommend. They don’t last long and are expensive

It does it's job and is easy to remove, my only gripe is that the enclosure cannot be bought separately and that the cables seem to be too cheaply made as there seems to be no method of dust or water resistance to the battery past the enclosure.
