This lights truly are a light canon, however, they are defs limited. They do not detach unlike shred lights. Also, my biggest factor is that the rubber tab covering the charger constantly opens while riding. However, these lights are unmatched on how bright they are. I will say, do not underestimate just carrying a flashlight or wearing a headlamp

These Backfire lights are really good.

Awesome lights. Look clean. Usb-c only way to go. Make sure you get the correct mounting brackets from backfire for the 4x4 hammer sledge. Mounting using only one bolt will lead to bracket failure!!

These Backfire lights are an absolute must! Sit nicely underneath the deck – well-built easy to charge, turn on and off. Good visibility at night. Highly recommend!

Either the charging cord is faulty or one of the lights are faulty. One always dies before the other for they flicker before do.

I love these lights but I could really use some support with a replacement piece for this light. Even if I have to purchase one light for it. I haven’t had these lights for too long and it’s snapped off while skating. They are very useful and bright but I hope this isn’t common. Any help is appreciated

great for night rides, so you can see the road in front of you and most importantly more visible to vehicles on the road. great lights.

I absolutely love these, they are much much brighter than I had expected. It’s so much easier for me to see at night when I’m riding, during the summer I do a lot of evening/night riding and have always struggled to see. Now that isn’t an issue at all !

I ordered these less than a month ago. I was very happy with shipping, due to the fact that it was very quick and also easy to buy. The product itself is upsetting, like i said before I havent had them for too long and they already causing issues. They turn on or off by themselves and sometimes i can’t do the opposite, so won’t be able to turn them off. I thought it was a good purchase but definitely not worth it, especially when they are a premium price.

I love riding at night but I also like to not die. These lights helps provide the former by reducing the risk of the latter. The lights are bright enough to see most of the stuff i might hit, and they have always outlasted the boards battery so I don't worry about running out of light. They also mount nicely out of the way so I hardly notice them when they aren't on.

I bought these about 3 months ago, and for a while they worked well. Suddenly however, the right light started malfunctioning and randomly switches on and off, making the battery depleted when I actually need it and being annoying when not in use and still charged due to the constant turning on and off.
I contacted support which quickly replied that they do not have any warranty on these whatsoever, telling me to buy a new set.
The warranty page was pretty unclear to me, but regardless, I don't suggest buying a product that is likely to break after 3 months of normal use.

Works great. EXTREMELY BRIGHT. Seems to be dirt/dust resistant as well as water resistant. Worth the money in my opinion.
It’s just what I needed for those late night rides with the boys

It’s been great , they look so good. But my right light just broke off my trucks . So hopefully I could maybe get another pair sent out / warranty .

Due to the offset of the mounting plate to make room for the truck base on standard trucks, these won't fit drop-thru trucks (such as those on the Ranger line) without some sort of spacer. Alternatively you could mount them on top of the board, but that ruins the whole point of the design.
This review started at 5 stars, as the design was a good idea and the flashlights themselves are well built and very bright. I've deducted 1 star for misleading product description failing to mention incompatibly with drop-thru trucks, 1 for failing to provide sufficient hardware to mount them on any Backfire board, and 1 for the button being on the bottom instead of the side, making it more difficult to access while riding.
