First of all this is my first electric board so take that into consideration. That being said, this thing is amazing! I’m not the best skater so I’m still learning to deal with the speed of this thing. I was able to get up to 22 mph before I got too scared to go any faster. I weight about 180 with all my gear on and I’m getting about 22 miles on a charge on mostly flat ground and avg speeds around 14-16 mph. I’m getting faster every day but still alittle hesitant that ride faster than that normally. But it’s great! Got in in 5 days from California to florida. Thanks guys!

Awesome ride. The bouncy board and wide wheels make everything smooth as butter and our roads suck. If this is your first belt drive watch out for the torque. The Zealot climbs hills like a champ but will fly away from you if you gas it too quick.

This is the most fun, fast and free I have felt in a long time!!! At 48 years old and 195 pounds with a body that has been skateboarding for 35 years. This Backfire Zealot board is the greatest thing to happen to me since the rise of the concrete skateparks that I can’t skate like I used to. Just cruising around passing people on bikes is great!!! And hitting full speed of 24 mph is the best!!! I only have 30 miles on it now but I can’t wait for the next 300!!! Well worth the money!!! Fast, very responsive and reliable. Go get one and get out there!!!

Just hit the 200 mile mark on the odometer. I put this board through hell and back. I take it off road all the time. I’m still able to hit 28 mph with no lag. The longest range I’ve gotten on this board is 20.1 miles before it slowed down significantly. The board is so good. The best part of it all, is when a part goes bad, I can just go buy a replacement part. I Love it. Here’s a pic of it with evolve head lights and tail lights.

Great even for a beginner. This is my first time ever riding a electric skateboard. I did buy a mini long board 2 weeks before my purchase and practiced on that for a little bit since I never skated growing up. I will say riding a regular skateboard is harder than riding an electric skateboard. I’m 30 and I had a blast on the zealot!! Still riding on eco mode but turns are easy and I haven’t fallen yet!!!!

I was a bit apprehensive when shopping for an electric skateboard. I figured it was going to be some cheap Chinese junk. However, it seems to be high quality. My boys love it. They play outside now instead of sit behind the computer all of the time. I feel like it was money well spent.

No maintenance like adjusting belts that come with most belt drives, nice amount do accessories like extra belts just all around great buy.

Wear your gear!!! I went for a test drive put it in sport mode and preceded to dislocate my shoulder (MY FAULT) . Board is a head turner and everyone asks a ton of questions like I’m from the future. I’m a heavy dude 220 ish on a good day and it handles me no problem

As honest as I want to be with this board and talk about the negatives. They’re are none, I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the zealot. It’s perfect for everyday use. The flexibility is right where I’d want it to be. I used to ride my long board to work, but now that I use the zealot, not only can I get to work way faster but I have so much fun doing so. The battery life is great, and the option to use turbo especially for going up hills if you live in an area with hills and bridges does fantastic. My overall rating would be a 10/10.

Board is amazing! There was one time that while in turbo mode going up a hill that the power shut off. After a couple minutes it came back on. Is this normal operation like overheated? Other than that one time no problems at all.

They’re pretty good. You can definitely feel the comfort increase and the range decrease. Also these wheels are a bit noisy on completely flat ground from the texture of the wheels. I live at a university with pretty bad roads and brick roads at times and I no longer cringe when riding over them. I just regret buying the black ones instead of the pink- I mean purple ones, but they were out of stock :(

I’ve already use it for couple days and it performs well! I skated for about totally 20km back and forth through the beach. It left about half of the battery level. Haven’t tried the turbo mode. The fastest speed I achieved is about 35km/h.

For the most part this board kicks a$$ haha it’s so much fun and has plenty of torque when you’re feeling risky. Haven’t fully done a range test to see how the battery does, but so far the battery has lasted at least a good 16-18 miles and I am not nice to it on hills n stuff. Board has a little rattle sound coming from somewhere in the motors I think, went through and tightened everything but I still hear it. That’s my only complaint I think. Otherwise I would totally recommend. I’ve only put on about 80 miles on the board or so, but it’s all I think about when I get off work haha

I’ve had my Zealot for a couple weeks now and I absolutely love it! At first, I was a little hesitant to order one considering the huge price tag, but after it came in the mail and I tried it, I can say it’s definitely worth the money spent. The deck is the perfect size for me, and I am able to control it well at high speeds. The acceleration is amazing, and even though it makes a lot of noise (since it’s a belt motor) I actually like to hear the motor as I accelerate, the noise is pretty nice to hear imo. I’m glad I got the zealot, the range and speed are perfect for traveling through small roads and neighborhood streets for quite a while. The brakes are very strong when pressed down all the way (I unfortunately learned that the hard way, but hey, they’re really good brakes), and it’s great at going on uphills as well as sidewalks. I’ve been looking to buy an e-skate for quite a while now and I believe this is the best pick. If you decide to order one, trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I'd first want to thank Backfire for their amazing customer service prior to my purchase. I reached out several times regarding availability at the time of inquiring and helping me out with pricing when I reached out for help on wanting to buy a board for myself and a gift for my friend. I've now got 21 miles on my board and my friend has 11 miles and we are enoying the feel and quality of the boards and have also had some accidents on the board. Be sure to wear some gear, my fall was really bad but was mitigated with the gear i had, that was user error not product issues. My rear truck did begin to squeak after 10 miles but nothing a little bit of lubricant can't fix. As for my friends board it is going really well no complains whatsoever. Me and my friend agree we would recommend this to anyone looking into getting an electric board.

We got this board for my daughter’s birthday, and she absolutely loves it! She loves the how great the grip is, how smooth it is, and how fast it is. My husband added that is has really good torque and speed control. Great quality!

Wear your gear!!! I went for a test drive put it in sport mode and preceded to dislocate my shoulder (MY FAULT) . Board is a head turner and everyone asks a ton of questions like I’m from the future. I’m a heavy dude 220 ish on a good day and it handles me no problem

As honest as I want to be with this board and talk about the negatives. They’re are none, I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the zealot. It’s perfect for everyday use. The flexibility is right where I’d want it to be. I used to ride my long board to work, but now that I use the zealot, not only can I get to work way faster but I have so much fun doing so. The battery life is great, and the option to use turbo especially for going up hills if you live in an area with hills and bridges does fantastic. My overall rating would be a 10/10.

NYC riding is so much fun going through Times Square at night is very unique experience. Im also doing 8mile laps on Central park with my personal best of 17:48 minutes…. Just one thing…. I WISH I HAD GOTTEN THIS SOONER!!!

Board is amazing! There was one time that while in turbo mode going up a hill that the power shut off. After a couple minutes it came back on. Is this normal operation like overheated? Other than that one time no problems at all.

They’re pretty good. You can definitely feel the comfort increase and the range decrease. Also these wheels are a bit noisy on completely flat ground from the texture of the wheels. I live at a university with pretty bad roads and brick roads at times and I no longer cringe when riding over them. I just regret buying the black ones instead of the pink- I mean purple ones, but they were out of stock :(

I use it For Work and everyday Commuting for necessary resources in life. I’ve already use it for couple days and it performs well! I skated for about totally 20km back and forth through the beach. It left about half of the battery level. Haven’t tried the turbo mode. The fastest speed I achieved is about 35km/h.

For the most part this board kicks a$$ haha it’s so much fun and has plenty of torque when you’re feeling risky. Haven’t fully done a range test to see how the battery does, but so far the battery has lasted at least a good 16-18 miles and I am not nice to it on hills n stuff. Board has a little rattle sound coming from somewhere in the motors I think, went through and tightened everything but I still hear it. That’s my only complaint I think. Otherwise I would totally recommend. I’ve only put on about 80 miles on the board or so, but it’s all I think about when I get off work haha

I’ve had my Zealot for a couple weeks now and I absolutely love it! At first, I was a little hesitant to order one considering the huge price tag, but after it came in the mail and I tried it, I can say it’s definitely worth the money spent. The deck is the perfect size for me, and I am able to control it well at high speeds. The acceleration is amazing, and even though it makes a lot of noise (since it’s a belt motor) I actually like to hear the motor as I accelerate, the noise is pretty nice to hear imo. I’m glad I got the zealot, the range and speed are perfect for traveling through small roads and neighborhood streets for quite a while. The brakes are very strong when pressed down all the way (I unfortunately learned that the hard way, but hey, they’re really good brakes), and it’s great at going on uphills as well as sidewalks. I’ve been looking to buy an e-skate for quite a while now and I believe this is the best pick. If you decide to order one, trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I'd first want to thank Backfire for their amazing customer service prior to my purchase. I reached out several times regarding availability at the time of inquiring and helping me out with pricing when I reached out for help on wanting to buy a board for myself and a gift for my friend. I've now got 21 miles on my board and my friend has 11 miles and we are enoying the feel and quality of the boards and have also had some accidents on the board. Be sure to wear some gear, my fall was really bad but was mitigated with the gear i had, that was user error not product issues. My rear truck did begin to squeak after 10 miles but nothing a little bit of lubricant can't fix. As for my friends board it is going really well no complains whatsoever. Me and my friend agree we would recommend this to anyone looking into getting an electric board.

I absolutely love this board. I get 19-20 miles per charge weighing 190lbs. Speed and acceleration is insane. Not to mention it's sexy as hell. Good job backfire

A week after I preferred the Zealot I didn’t think I would make it to the 40-45 day shipping. To my surprise, it got here in about two weeks and had enough power to get and play with it. My son and I went to a favorite trail (he on his longboard) and by the time we made it back to the car, he was ordering his own. This board is amazing! It has the perfect combination at torque and smoothness.

I've been narrowing my roommates boosted stealth and wanted a board just as powerful and fun. This board is amazing. The composite deck is as stiff as the stealth and the board is crazy fast. Honestly I love my zealot more then my friends stealth and it's a fraction of the price!!! Took 3 days to get to my house. Amazing service.
